HOW WE MET
On 2 September 2002, we met in our Form 2 classroom for the very first time. While Celina doesn't have any clear memory about their first met, Kim is sure that he sat right behind Celina.
OUR STORY
OUR FRIENDSHIP
They had then quickly become good friends. Although they didn't share a lot of interests (Celina was more of a bookish girl while Kim was one of the most sporty guys in school,) they always enjoyed each other's company. With time, they became close friends - they knew each other's family; they were groupmates in their Chemistry and Physics lessons; they ran the student union together. Throughout their teenage life, Kim and Celina had witnessed each other's growth; wrongs or rights, failures or successes.
Despite their bond, they had never thought of falling in love with each other. In fact, they had known each other so long and so well that falling in love seemed to be a little out of place. But people say you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time. In 2011, Celina went through one of the toughest time of her life. When she was all on her own, feeling helpless with ground shaking furiously under her little feet, Kim stepped right into her shattering world. Kim, with his gentleness and patience, helped Celina heal her wound and get back up on her feet. He put back the lost smile on Celina's face. And there was where their love started to bloom and flourish.
OUR LOVE STORY
THE PROPOSAL
More than 15 years since they have met, on 26 March 2017, Kim popped the question in Yufuin, Fukuoka, Japan during their long waited trip. Being with Kim has been one of the best decisions Celina has ever made. And she has decided to make an even better decision - she said YES!
